Front brake pads

  1. Hi all bought some front brake pads genuine from ducati with discount 122.00 both sides for multi 1200s is this a good price and a good idea putting factory pads on or has someone done different done 10000 miles and brakes are getting crap

  2. I replaced mine when I was getting a new set of tyres, Vesrah sintered pads (VD262JL).

    I was a bit unsure as I'd not heard of the make before but I'm very impressed, great feel and improvement of the originals (which I never liked), and much cheaper (£40 a pair)

  3. 122 quid sounds like a lot of money to me for two sets of pads.
    I would use after market pads personally.
    I think the stock pads work well, but are pretty hard.

    I've used Carbon Lorain, Brembo, Bendix, and EBC. They all work well.
    If you get some sintered HH pads they give a bit more bite and feel.

  4. Isn't sinted the ones, that needed to be "warmed up" a bit, before they present the extra bite?

  5. Mine were good after the first 30 miles of bedding them in, been much better ever since.
