Just having the forks upgraded at Maxton Engineering. When I did this on my DD bike I changed the standard height by quite some margin. But this took ages to get it were I liked it. To give me a better starting point, what heights are you guys setting them at for track / race use. Thanks
4 rings showing is a common setting for 999 road and track but if you have flipped the headstock to race then 3 rings maximum or tyre contact.
Well they are installed now with the recommended height of 243mm which equals around 3.5 rings showing. Can't believe how low the bottom yoke bolts are tqd to, 15 nm. Not much is it!
