Front Lift Arm

  1. got myself a front lift arm for an abba stand today so a bit of wheel cleaning about to commence ( fuck me I've got a sad life ) :0)
Just got the bike and been waiting to pick up the kit so I could take it off the side stand and give it a thorough once over , nearly convinced myself to get the sky lift thingy but couldn't bring myself to buy it for one bike.is it wrong to feel a bit excited about a stand and now I'm telling everyone what a womble I am

  2. Let us know what you think of it. I've been considering buying one myself. Love the Abba stands. I stupidly bought my 2nd one a year ago thinking I sold or gave away the first one when I sold my previous bike about 5 years ago. But I found it in the back of the garage last weekend so now I have two! D'oh. If any reader wants a cheap Abba stand let me know! I do like the products, and they're a nice company to do business with. I don't think I'd stretch to a sky lift though.

  3. Nearly did the same over the stand , moved house and forgot where I'd left it
Will see what it's like in the next few days and let you know

  4. Love the Abba superbike stand and the front wheel lift.
Not so sure about the Skylift. Its a lot of money for the novelty of tipping the bike at 45 degrees so you can clean the undercarriage with a toothbrush. I wouldn't swap the superbike stand but for the cost of a Skylift I think I'd rather put the money towards a hydraulic bench.

  5. Bit bored around the house today and thought I'd try the lift arm so I could give it a bit of a spruce that being my little evo.
Well I must say kitsall there and after a bit of pouncing around getting old red paint out of the inside where the doobri goes on my old stand which must be 15 years old ( top value) puts it all together and da daaa ,she's floating . now to clean them wheels .
The cost for all bits that specific bobbins front rails and spindle attachment with post £82 . Not bad you ask me considering how long I've had the stand. Just wish it could do my other bikes but these are not catered for . Which was also a big reason I didn't buy the sky lift
