1200 DVT Front Mud Guard

  1. Could any body with a DVT and have the plastic rear part of the front mud guard plz take a picture for me. Mine has came today and has a hole in it and I can’t see why

  2. No picture but it is the same on the 1260, the dealer fitted mine and I asked about the hole and they had no idea either :)

  5. Sorry for being a smartarse but my bike is in the shop so can't look today! Maybe is for a cable guide mount?

  7. If nothing goes into it it might be a good idea to plug it with a blind grommet to stop the muck coming through.

  8. This is obviously the hole for the cable holder of the airbag sensor cables,
    The airbag sensors are only installed on the DAir model.

  9. I wouldn't bother, as it's crap as a mudguard anyway :(
     
  10. But it does allow for fitment of a fender extender , which combined are pretty effective

  11. If you've fitted a fender extender to your Multi, keep an eye on your tyre as it will rub it :(
     
  12. This is especially true if you've also fitted a head protector, as it pushes the fender extender into the tyre under heavy breaking. It's not a major problem as the fender extender isn't going to dig it, it just get worn away. The wear on the fender extender isn't very pretty and an MOT tester may not like it.
