front paddock stand - drilling 999 yoke

Discussion in '749 / 999' started by Phill, Sep 13, 2013.

  1. hi
I have a front bottom yoke paddock stand for my 999.
and as the 999 has a solid bottom yoke with no hole it wont fit.
I have heard of some drilling a hole in the centre.
    has anyone done this??
    any probs ??

  5. I take the yoke pin out of my FPS put the securing pin back in. Put the fps in place and loop a thin ratchet strap through the holes in top yoke down under the FPS horizontal bar behind the securing pin and tighten up ratchet strap. That keeps the FPS vertical bar tight against the yoke and secure enough to remove the wheel providing all nuts have been loosened first.
