After two weeks spent doing 2,600 miles round France  my front Skyhook sensor decided to give up the ghost. At least I was back home when it did. Part due in at Metropolis on Wednesday but bike still rideable in the meantime. Anyone else had this problem? My bike is a 2013, S Touring, three months old, 6,200 miles on the clock.
Sorry to hear that. No problems here (just over 5200 miles). How did the problem reveal itself? What were the symptoms?
Good point. The Skyhook did come into its own two-up in France recently - even though my passenger and luggage were light
Sorry to hear of the 1st Skyhook failure. Good idea but not needed IMO and why I bought the standard bike as I will probably keep the bike beyond warranty period...
I had a 2012 Touring and the front forks rattled badly, I could have had it done under warrantee. Bought the 2013 ABS because of the engine and its relative simplicity. Get my old age pension in January so sooner or later I have also got to keep a bike while its out of warrantee and the ABS model is still a much better bike than my riding capabilities.
