Fuel consumption - recording / monitoring mpg

  1. A bit geeky maybe but I do like to monitor fuel consumption.....if for no other reason a trend towards higher consumption could be an indicator of a mechanical/technical fault - although it's handy to monitor expenses, mpg for different trips/rideouts/events etc.
If like the MTS1200 your bike has a 'trip computer'/digital fuel guage you'll be surprised how different it's figures are from actual fuel consumption stats!

Keep you own detailed record (just key in figures from your petrol receipts, add any trip/ride info you like and the calcs are done for you.....simples :D
    ....oh.....and it's FREE ;-)

...and you can compare with your mates or anyone else with the same bike model ;-)
