748 Fuel Delivery To Horizontal Cylinder

  1. Hi. Looking for some advice as to why no fuel is going to horizontal cylinder only vertical. Fuel injector is fully working as it should ?
    Thanks

  2. Having checked the 2 underseat relays my question is should they both click when key is turned ?
    Thanks

  3. Sorry forgot to add
Sorry forgot to add that no fuel is being sprayed from this injector into the cylinder bore. Injector is brand new.

  4. Check the fuel pipes in the tank, they can split and just recycle fuel round the tank

  5. It's a very simple system. The fuel feed comes from the pump, to the rear cylinder, then to the front cylinder then returns. It's a simple loop set up. If fuel is at the rear injector, then there's only a short run of pipe to the other injector. Check for a collapsed pipe due mostly nowadays to the ethanol.
I'd remove the front injector from the throttle body and check fuel is there. If it is, then it's possibly the injector or its in built filter.
Also worth checking the pressure reg on the pump body. If that's not working it'll stop flow around the loop. You should still get fuel at both injectors in theory, but it could air lock the system meaning fuel can't flow as far as the front injector.
