Fuel Pump 900ss

  1. Has anyone replaced a fuel pump recently as i need a new pump/kit for my ss, if so which one did you use :)

  2. The carb 900ss uses a low pressure pump, the 900ss I.E. requires a high pressure pump.

    It is also worth noting that it is possible to connect the carb model’s pump to run backwards, so it’s advisable to test before buttoning it all up. No guesses as to how I know!

  4. Been doing a bit of searching on the forum to get some figures for the fuel pump pressure for a carb 900ss
    coming up is 3-5 bar 7-8 bar which one or both are ok to use.

  5. Sorry, don’t know, I never looked into it in that detail. An eBay search threw up a seller I thought could be trusted and so I went with their offer. If I was in the same position again, I’d buy this one:

    It's very low pressure
