  1. Couple of questions!

Once the weather changed around October I put the 916 to bed under a cover and usually leave her there till April. Am I best to run it up to temp every couple of weeks and gonm through the gears whilst it's on the paddock stands, or leave her be?

Turned the bike on yesterday and the fuel pump made a right slow whining noise. Turned off and on again several times and the same noise. Started the bike up and ran to temp, then after I turned the bike on the fuel pump was back to the normal sound . Any ideas guys?

  2. Fuel pump turning over slow is normal after a while of being stood still…
I normally start mine every couple of months or so at most and do the trickle charger maybe every month. Never had any problems with doing it this way. Wouldn’t bother going through the gears on the paddock stand though, that’s just asking for problems unnecessarily.
