fuel sensor just took a shit ... 2018 Multi 1260s, 10,300 miles on the clock. i went through 3 fuel sensors on my 2010 Multi 1200s ... you would think that Ducati would get the shit together after all these years, and source a fuel sensor that was not buggered by ethanol. if anyone ends up making an aftermarket fuel sensor that is a direct plug-n-play replacement that is impervious to ethanol, they will be godlike in my book.
update: so, i got lucky this time ... the old "pour some Star Tron Enzyme Fuel Treatment in the tank" trick worked. the fuel sensor is working now, so perhaps was only a combination of extreme ambient temps we are having and ethanol. on a similar topic, found these vids showing how to repair the fuel sensor ... wish i understood what the presenter was saying.
Saw that too when mine went wrong. Does not show him dremeling all the resin out to get to the screws. Got to that stage and just went and bought another one.
