Fuel Tank For 91-97 900ss, Or Reputable Repairer.....

  1. Does anyone have, or know where there is, a 91-97 900ss fuel tank available. Current one has a corrosion related hole on the underside in the usual location..

    Alternatively, any recommendations for companies who repair fuel tanks by patch repair, as well as any to avoid.

    I think the tank needs a proper repair or replacement, and beyond rescuing with sealant.....

  5. Thanks for the responses. I'm going to take that tank to a couple of local companies who tell me they may be able to assist. Best case scenario is theres not too much corrosion to remove to get back to good metal are able to fix with only localised paint damage to the bottom of the tank.

    But then there is always beater.jp......

  6. For small holes i always braze them its usually the best way,my tank is on its last legs so in winter i will be having a crack at making some.
