Took the dust covers off the S4 yesterday after winter lay up Paint on bottom left of tank is all blistered and lifted,tank has obviously sprung a small leak Looking for recommendations for repair and repaint or if anyone has a good tank surplus to requirements Thanks
The M900 was very prone to this. Those tanks are prone to tear where they rust inside (due to the tank back being low at the back) and then twist around the hinge at the back due to the tank-prop being on one side. When mine started to leak it was a 2 inch tear under the back i sealed it with POR-15 which was recommended by UK MOC https://www.por15.com/Fuel-Tank-Restoration-Category It was successful for the 6 months before i sold it on
