Yesterday I filled up the 1299 Pani with whatever BP call their super unleaded. £1.49/litre it was too. For the whole day the bike vibrated more than usual and would Labour at 5000rpm in 5th. today was the same. Then mid morning the fuel light came on so off I went to Shell to put in V Power. Didn’t take long to notice the bike was back to its usual self. anyone else noticed this?
Nope, don’t run the V powers or equivalent any longer. Might have been just bad fuel from that particular fuel stop ?
Many years ago, when I was riding, I used both in whatever bike that I was riding at the time (monster S4r, ST2, or ST3) and never had a problem. I think it likely that the service station was giving out the wrong fuel type.
