Fuelling

  1. I have had my 2011(Oct reg) MTS 1200s sport for a couple of months now and done circa 2.5K miles.
I do love the bike overall despite the many little "differences" Ducati ownership brings such as bolts made as one offs and of materials mined on distant planets, costing a small mortgage to replace when they give ,when applying any more than 5nm of torque and oh yes, of course there being several different types and sizes for each panel. Methinks its a cunning plan to increase the length of time it takes to get at the bike to service it thus raising servicing costs.
Anyway one particular niggle is the terrible lumpy fuelling at low speed making the damn thing bloody awful to ride in slow traffic in 1st 2nd and 3rd.
I do not think this one has had the remap from Ducati which was supposed to sort the issue but I have seen much that would indicate this has not been found to be the case.
So question is does anyone know if its possible to get a decent remap to solve the low speed fuelling (South of England please) whilst leaving on standard exhaust system.
    Any advice gratefully received.

  2. If it has a service history the Ducati software should have been updated.

My 2012 is not great in traffic but that is not where I tend to linger.

Someone will come along and link to CJS for a remap :upyeah:
