1200 Enduro Full Termi Race System Club

Discussion in 'Multistrada' started by DavidD, Jan 27, 2017.

  1. I bought my Enduro in October last year after 10 years and 100,000 miles of KTM's (950SE, 990S, 990R, 1190R and 1290 Super Adventure).

After 2500 cold and wet winter miles what can I say? The positives are the detailing, ergonomics, the controls, general refinement, lighting and the power delivery.

The negatives are the crappy heated grips and the suspension which I am still trying to stiffen up through the settings, but haven't got there yet. Hope SRINGS eternal.

I have all of the packs fitted which I am really pleased with. A lot of thought has gone into their design and Touratech/Ducati have done a good job.

I initially opted for just the Termi end can after spending so much on everything else. However after a few weeks decided to upgrade to the full Termi race system. Of course it is a given that it sounds fantastic, with the added benefits of less heat/weight and a few more ponies. Plus it looks so much better with the Cat gone.

Love to hear how other Enduro owners are getting on.

  5. Unfortunately it's just the Bluetooth remote control unit for my PowerLet heated jacket. You can turn it on/off, up/down.

One knob does the jacket. The other one does the heated gloves, which I haven't got, but am seriously considering getting as the Ducati heated grips are so rubbish.

  8. Love the exhaust... very tempted to change mine. Does it feel any quicker?

I see you purchased the padded back rest for the top box. How did you attach it? Found mine in the top box, I assume you glue it on?

  9. Yes it does feel quicker, certainly it 'breathes' better and you also lose a load of weight and heat. Obviously it sounds better too.

I know that there has been some discussion on here about dyno testing of Termi's etc, but this definitely feels faster. Also there are no restrictions in the system unlike other Termi systems.

Re the Top Box backrest, it looks like it is glued on, there are bolts going through, but they appear to be just for the hinges. It's difficult to tell with it in place, it was fitted by the dealer, before I picked the bike up. My wife is happy with it, even with a back protector in her jacket.

  10. Thanks for that... really tempted. Apologies if this is a dumb question.... is it road legal and did you advise your insurance company that you've fitted it?
