Had the system fitted last week at Ducati Leeds and it has changed the bike so much it's so smooth on the throttle with no bomb hole any where in the rev range. All the way back to Morecambe I was holding on to each gear just to listen to the roar of that exhaust & when you change gear it sounds like my 12 bore shot gun! Great job from d/Leeds once again now what do I get next?
If I do put them in it only saves my hearing for when I get home & then you get the sound of the mrs ! "The grass needs cutting the washer leaking have you been to the tip? Mmmm ear plugs , it is loud but good fun
Any comparison to the AR system anyone? Austin Racing claims bigger gains on the hp figures. Does the termi offer considerable increase from stock system?
Thanks. Well on a 195bhp bike 5% is a lot. However with same money you can get the bst carbon wheels. Thats what I am considering now..
That sounds like a plan to me but try a bike with the full system on first it may change your mind or get both !
HP figures are pretty pointless at this level. In looking for a new pipe I'd consider the power and torque curves. I've seen the difference between the torque curve on the Termi full system manifold and the superstock manifold, it's massive but the only problem is that you can not fit the fan with the superstock manifold. Realistically for most people look and sound are probably more important than outright BHP.
Does a make a difference on a bike like it does a car to reduce the un-sprung mass. Lighter wheels, flywheel etc?
Yeap. Thats why I am considering the carbon wheels. Not sure about the flywheel though. Had a bad experience on the 1098 as it used to stall at the traffic lights with the new light flywheel. With the panis increased compression / bigger effort to fire up this could be an issue. I think.
Getting rid of the catalytic converters and freeing up the fuelling makes a huge difference to the bike and is well worth the investment.
The wheels might be great but believe me a full Termignoni system on a Ducati sports bike makes a huge difference.
A thing of great beauty and if I could slot this bad boy straight in, it would of been in my garage ( dam you 999 chassis )
what to do next? get a MWR airfilter, a Rapidbike race module and a good mapping ... it wil have a similar effect on top of the EVO line.. the Pro superstock line only gives more output above 7K..
