  3. So 2 bikes, almost new, many thousands of pounds to buy, yet written off presumably for cosmetics as they are cat D, just how much are Ducati charging for spares ? the insurance on these things will go through the roof if that's the case.
     
  4. I was told by 'an insurance company' (ssssh) just recently, that any of the supersport and monster range older than 10 years are likely to be written off in the event of a 'ding'...........

    ..............simply because just a few OEM parts (if available) will inevitably push the repair cost above the bike value.
     
  5. ^ you prompted me to follow up on something that i'd meant to do for ages, the cost of the cast aluminium Panigale frame (Part Number 47012051CA). I found two the same in dollars (so £873.06) and one in Euros (so £801.39).
