Finally got round to making a modification to my gear shifter Ever since I’ve owned a multistrada I’ve never liked the shape of the gear shift, mainly because it’s always made my big toe hurt and blister especially when away touring so today after getting it MOT’d and taxed I got my file out and made it more rounded and fitted a rubber end that I put on my Yamaha and must say I’m over the moon with the result, much better and after trying it out this afternoon no more sore toe
That looks far better. I have never understood quite why it was made the shape and angle it is from the factory ?? I raised mine to get a better angle to my foot but have not been able to ride the damned thing to check
