The gearbox output shaft seal on my 907ie is leaking and I'd like to have a new seal on hand before I start work on it. Can anyone confirm the size? I believe it is 25 x 52 x 7 and is the same as the 851/88, 748/916, carbed Monster or SS, ST2/3/4 and probably lots more.
I just went to the dealer and ordered mine for the 916. £15 I think only just done it aswell. I know it's not worth the hassle for the few pennies you will save looking elsewhere
I can get one from a bearing supplier locally. Since my nearest dealer is 100 miles away I'll have to get it sent and postage knocks the cost up by another 1/3
