False Neutrals Further in several threads people have moaned about false neutrals, including me. I’ve just had the gear change lever correctly adjusted, so that both adjustments are in the mid point. Someone at some point had made all the adjustment only one of the two places it could be adjusted. My gearbox is now officially LOVELY…no false neutrals. MY Multistrada (in the fastest colour) is very nearly PERFECT with only two very minor issues. I wish it was lower and for the record I’m average height for the UK at 5’9”, albeit harder to kidnap than most. I’ve already got the lowest seat going, so unless I want to look take on the look of a late Elvis who’s just joined Steel Panther (a fat guy with glam rock heels) I have to hop or stand on tiptoe at junctions. Getting on the bike is a joke for me as ballet was never on my list of achievements. My Karate kick is one day going to make YouTube, probably when I kick my Multistrada over into a row of bikes…. Every Which Way But Loose style. Low end fueling/rough running…to be fixed shortly. The fatducs nearly did it for me….but I want it PERFECT!
Buy Pikes Peak seat to suit your model then source bike seat trimmer to carve the guts out to suit you. There's heaps of padding in the original PP seat so can be easily scooped out to suit. I'm 5'6" and had this done. Stop & manouvre with confidence.
