  1. Well out riding the bike today and noticed an orange warning triangle illuminated in the bottom RH corner of the screen. I turned the bike off, took the key out, and then restarted the bike. The triangle had gone……….until I pulled the front brake lever and now it’s back. Also the rear brake causes it to come on as well. Has anyone got any ideas what it could be? I have checked all of the fuses next to the battery and they all appear to be ok.

  2. Sounds obvious but is the brake light ok?

  3. Brake light is working perfectly.

  4. Try a reboot- disconnect battery. But get a secondary (and more informed) opinion before you do so. Modern control systems can be sensitive to voltage instability.

  5. Have the same problem on my Streetfighter. Came on while on my way back from Megello. P&H put on the diagnostic machine and said no fault showing?? but think it might be the battery or battery from the tracker. Its in for a service in a few weeks so will get them to change battery to see if they are correct, If not they can keep it to find the problem!

  6. Don't know if you ever sorted your problem.... but mine ended up being the Evotech rear numberplate LED light not working!!!!

  7. That’s exactly what mine was. The number plate lights stopped working. Swapped it out with a new one and the problem has gone.

  8. yep spot on. Had EXACTLY the same error yesteray, yellow triangle popped up, so fearing the worst I headed carefully back to P&H who were kind enough to immediately pop it on the diagnostic tool and it turned out to the be the little EVOTEC LED number plate Light, obviously I've taken a stone at some point and it's chipped and flickers. Some sort of power draw or short then sets the warning off.

    Crazy co-incidence !!?

  9. My Evotech number plate light failed as well. They sent me a replacement FOC but it was a pain to change because you have to dismantle the complete tail tidy.

  10. Just a point of interest. If you can get hold of an offcut of PPF film, then cut some to size and place it over the NP Light lens. Sort of acts like a laminated screen, in that it should prevent the lens from cracking if hit by a rock or debris and even if it does break, it should stop short any such debris from reaching the LED strip inside. You will naturally have to replace the lens if that's the case but it will at least prevent any CAN bus errors from flagging up.
