  1. anyone know by looking at these if there the genuine article or not? they sure look and feel first class quality, its the first dainese clothing ive bought and I don't think the seller was an authorised dealer, there was a load of them for sale on ebay at the time, ether way I'm very happy with them but would like to know wether or not the cushy

  3. they are amazing quality, I paid £135 for them the seller had 4 or 5 pairs for sale and was asking £150, said they were the older stock, not sure but think they could be double this price rrp
told me they were 100% genuine and full refund if I wasn't happy at all, sounded to good to be true but at the price was worth the gamble

  4. If anything is not quite right, I would venture to suggest that they were liberated from another retail outlet without being paid for rather than fakes. Andy

  5. this seller lynnev0987 on eBay
they have a couple dodgy feedback but loads of good, surely if they were fake they would have been pulled by ebay long before now

  6. There are loads of fake Alpinestars gloves sold on ebay. If something seems to good to be true, then it probably is.

  7. I've sold a few pairs of these gloves along with the Ducati Flow gloves. I'm not going to disclose details as that would compromise my position, but I will say the ones I've sold are fully legitimate. I sourced mine from the country of manufacture and buy wholesale. We've become brainwashed in this country thinking that because Dainese/Ducati sell gloves at £250 that is what they are worth retail after taking into account the cost of manufacture plus a modest profit. The truth is that a lot of clothing and not just motorcycle clothing is manufactured in countries such as India where labour is cheap. It may imply it's been made in Italy etc but its origins are far more humble. I have a Ducati textile jacket that I paid £379 for from a Ducati dealer. The jacket is made in Vietnam. I saw the the exact same jacket for sale in Vietnam where it's made for £90. I think we've just become so used to being ripped off that when we see a product a lot cheaper we automatically doubt it. The gulf between the manufacturing cost and the retail value is huge, infact to be blunt it's a piss take, so you can't blame people for jumping in between.
