Fantastic qualifying session today, the wunderkid really is something else! The tv really doesn't do the noise or the corner speed justice!
It was ok, unfortunately because of the situation with the weather I feel it stifled things somewhat. It's all just a bit.... Meh
moto 2 was also great. Don't know what happened with lowes though.... But some excellent battles going on
it was bloody frustrating for us here too, the only place it was wet was final 2 corners and the start finish straight, the rest of the circuit was bone dry and the rain stopped half an hour before the start! The German fans were weird, they cheered like hell for Bradl right up until he was passed by Dani, then they gave up and left! It was bloody rude to be honest.
That's the story of Lowes' season so far. We have a vision of moto2 being something of a low-rent supersport class, but Lowes is finding out it's nothing like that, it's a true gp class with true talent in it. A very tough class.
I think hes doing good, with the exception of this weekend I think hes had 4 top 10 fins (and 3 or 4 dnfs!) but like you say its a class field packed with talent so with that in mind... Hes showed some good race pace and once he learns how not to crash he'll be a weapon..
