Gloss or Matt

  1. Can't decide on matt or gloss carbon fibre? What you guys got? Show me some piccys to help me decide :)

  3. Matt everytime, but then im bias :D
    Seriously though the matt carbon finish looks pretty smart in my opinion

  6. I like gloss...............but I also like matt................which is best?...................................Fight!







    PS.........Matt gets dirty easy and is harder to clean...........the more you clean it, it gets shinier..............and patchy shiny at that.....

  10. What bits are you thinking of?

    I have a matte hugger on my 848 which looks great.....but then the rest of the bike is matte too!

  12. Gloss for me.Matt looks like cheap plastic interior in my old dears fiesta to me.Carbon wheels look particularly bad in matt finish also compared to gloss/lacquer versions.

  14. Had the same trouble myself a few months back trying to decide what to go for. I think it depends on the bike and colour.

    I went for gloss and I'm happy I did. It's shiny. What more do you need.

  19. Oh well! I went with the matte, only on the tank protector.......for now anyho. I had the gloss on my 1098s but thought I'd try a different look this time so we will see when it turns up.
