  1. Just wondering what peeps views are on stickers on ya pride n joy? When I picked up my body work from the painters a couple of weeks back I mentioned in passing that the lower fairings are gunna look the nuts when I put me stickers on... He went a lil mad....

I mean like Olins , Alpine stars, Arai and stuff like that. The ones you get when you buy stuff. Had em on my other bikes on the lower part of the fairing and always thought they looked tasteful!
    Or is it wank?

  2. Your bike fella :)

  3. IMHO I thinks it looks good on a track bike. Not to sure on a road bike. Saying that, when I was younger all my bikes (road & track) had sponsor decals all over the place lol.

I'm very much a believer of less is more nowadays. Can look a little boy racer..

  4. :)Yea I know... obviously the painter doesn't want his work covered up but his reaction was also a lil sorta "what? are you 15?" lol... Maybe he's right just wondered about others views on this highly controversial topic!

  5. definitely not for me - ive got one small louigi moto sticker on the frame (about 1" long) and one on the RSV4 in the same place....when I got the hyper it was covered in ducati corse stickers (they all came off straight away)....actually ive got an outline of the IOM circuit on the fairing on the RSV and one on the tail...that's it....

  6. Ducati model stickers, although I quite like plain fairings with nothing on them and then maybe a subtle Corse sticker but beyond that then it's not for me

  7. Not for me. It looks like you put a load of free stickers on your bike. Its a bit like sticking these on your bed when you were 10.

  8. I'm from the less is more camp. 916 has painted number boards and a yellow agip sticker either side and thats it. 1198 is white. No stickers or owt.

However some race reps look very good all stickered up. I guess it depends on if its done nicely.

I saw an odd 9** the other week. It was red but it looked like it was covered in white polka dots. I didnt see it up close but it looked odd as i rode the other way. Mightve looked fine up close.

  9. Wank in my opinion. Think your comment about being 15 is bob on.

  10. LOL.... fair enuf! but if I get a stone chip somewhere im putting a sticker over it.:)

  11. I've got lots of stickers on my SP1 and they have definately made it faster.

  17. definately wank, specially if the painter took his time and produced loving results, spect he felt a bit pissed off actually,i would after all that work.id feel i might as well of just "dulux'ed" it with a brush.

  18. The guy paid for it, he can piss on it and set fire to it if he likes. Whats that to do with the painter?!

  19. i agree but thats missing out the op entirely,he asked and we gave personal opinions to him.
others then ignored him entirely and then stated the obvious, which i guess he already knew..
if he'd wanted a blanket obvious opinion i suspect he wouldnt have posted at all.

Exige:no mate, human evolution is apparently going in reverse.
