Hi as title, I have just acquired a go pro 4 black and wanted to know what mounts are a must for both my helmet and bike (899) and where the best mounting points are ? Sorry new to this and haven't a clue also still haven't had chance to open the go pro so do not know if there are mounts with it or not ? Cheers lee
The must have item for helmet mounting is a helmet mount, as it beats driving a nail into your lid to secure the camera.
Top tip, if you open the box, find the mounts fit the camera to it then place them on your bike without removing the sticky tape you can see if it will fit. It's not rocket science.
does the Go Pro have a screen / monitor ?,, my Backvue ( in the car ) does not have a screen so a monitor is needed when mounting it, otherwise you might end up with a screen full of rev counter or sky..
So I am riding a long with phone in hand watching where I am going when I get stopped by old bill. He nicks me for using phone. "but officer I wasn't making a call"
i think if you ( one ) has the correct phone it can do , camera monitor, gps and phone alternatively, all at the touch of a gloved finger
Keep toying with getting a Go Pro, just not sure where to mount it on 1199 not much room by looks of it. Got venture shield on it so sticky pad not a good idea.
Yep hence the user name Stupid ..... errrr I mean Cupid Stunt Anyone else have probs operating phone with bike gloves on?
you fit the camera to the bike you set up the angle of the camera using the view you can get on your phone you switch the phone off you ride and record what ever shoit you want to you finish switch off and stop you review whats on the camera by again looking at your phone if you want to. ffs
Andy, serious question and I did ask this up above. Where would be best place to mount Go Pro on 1199 bear in mind it has venture shield so really dont want to use sticky pads, I thought maybe fork leg but dont look like much room.
