I have been to Misano 2 years ago and you can just pitch up and buy a ticket outside. The back straight (turn 11/12) is where all the Rossi fans congregate as its his local GP. A good spot to watch is turn 8 as you can see most of the circuit from there.
Go too Misano you will enjoy it there, i went there in 2011 and 2012 and Mugello in 2013. Mugello is piss poor on transport from the station to the track but when at the track very full atmosphere especially when Rossi got taken out. Misano is great for getting to the track a free bus picks you up in town and drops you off 15 mins later at the track and the same coming back, we stayed in Cattolica. At the track we sat in the Rossi fan club stand good fun but the seats are just shuttered concrete only problem we found was you could not leave there and have a wider around the track. If you do go you must visit Rossi's home town Tavullia 25 mins from Cattolica and have a pizza in his restaurant and there is his small shop out the back.
