Hi, It's a 2007 1098s done 20,000 miles or so. Should I be worried about the relatively high miles? Anything I should be looking out for? Obviously full service history etc.. What sort of price should I be paying if it's a gooden? Cheers, AL
Mine has 17k on it and rides better than ever. As long as it's clean and we'll looked after for the right money I wouldn't worry about the miles... for the right money!
What would you say is the right money? £6.5 -£7k? I've seen some really clean low mile ones for around £8K
Thanks, will let you know how I get on. I've ridden my mates 848 evo. Other than power is there much between the 2? Are there any model change between early and late bikes?
When you start the bike listen for the starter "catching" without any slip, the Sprags and starting gear are a known weak point on the early 1098. Weren't the swing-arms/hubs also quickly beefed up after '07?
