Not sure I'd reccomend this place if your going to Amsterdam , except for their honesty:biggrin: Hans Brinker Budget Hotel, Amsterdam
It's reviews on Trip Advisor aren't too bad. I'll continue to stay at the Artemis hotel when I'm in the Dam.
I was a frequent visitor to Amsterdam back in the 70's, up to all kinds of hedonism. One evening a mate and I arrived in Amsterdam to stay a couple of nights with some friends in their new house. We arrived at the address at around 1:00am, much the worse for wear after sampling some of the delights to be found in the Brown bars and were surprised to find no one at home. We managed to gain entry into the house by lifting up a sash window and thinking that our friends were probably still out partying we made ourselves at home, helping ourselves to more Trappist Triples from the fridge and other stuff we found in a glass jar! Around 4:00am; by now tucked up in our sleeping bags, I was gently awoken from my inebriation by a lovely Dutch girl who asked what we were doing in her house. We had the wrong street! after explaining our error she said no problem, I have to go to work early in the morning so help yourself to coffee and some breakfast and please just let yourselves out and shut the door behind you. Love the Dutch, lived and worked there a couple of times and found them to be very tolerant and open minded ( well not the country dwellers)
