New to the forum today, I've been reading for some time. I wanted to say "Hello" from about 30 miles outside the south of Chicago. I've been riding for about 30 years on and off, recently got back into riding when I bought a 2014 Honda VFR800, and added a 2017 Ducati Monster 797 Nov of 2017. When the kids were born I sold the bike and bought a 1995 Miata (MX5), turning 62 this year and I thought if I don't get back to riding now, who knows how long I'll have, to be able to ride later. So, I sold the 95 Miata and replaced it with a 2004. I still have the Miata, the VFR and the 797. I have no shortage of vehicles for rides in the nice weather. The weather here hasn't been good enough to put any real miles on the 797 yet, but I'm out when ever the weather allows. Hoping I can contribute a bit, but certainly happy to read the experiences of others.
