2013 BREAKFAST CLUB It is 'Thoroughbred Sunday' this week - pre 1966 vehicles. Anyone planning to be there? Weather forecast looking good
If i get the for seals on my bike done today i shall be attending on sunday if the weather is good. Josh 600ss
I might be there as Box Hill will be shut due to the cycling event. I'll probably stop off at Foundry Motorcycles, Tangmere on the way back to Bury Hill too. http://www.goodwood.co.uk/breakfast-club/breakfast-club.aspx Not gonna make it as had a party invite last night...
Just putting rear brake pads in, will head off shortly. Need to look at the route to avoid the two wheelers without engines Never made it, found DES suspension problems
We was there. Some truly appalling wheels on some of the Aston Martins, looked like they bought them from Halfords, what's going on? Been seduced by the the 2 RSV4's that overtook me at faster miles an hour on the way down,I might as well of been on a tricycle! Very frustrating ride back with another 30-40 bikes all trickling along behind a police car:frown:
Goodwood breakfast club 4 August Thorougbred Sunday Was there yesterday morning with lots of interesting cars of difference eras, limited bike representation though - saw a brushed alumnimun tank 848 evo by the Aero clubhouse, and a red mid 90's 750 supersport leaving the carpark around 12:15 which sounded fantastic. Looking forward to the next one 6 October, expect the grid to be full of red machines (Theme: Italian Sunday)...
sorry all - I should have got on the phone at some point. Crystal John was THE BEST company for the morning and I wish I could have captured some footage as it would have cheered me up on revisiting in the future!. Good job I didn't leave at same time then John :frown: my ride was quite spirited and despite gearchange prob I found myself slumping back into my lovely armchair that is the Cagiva Elefant. Despite me harping on about 750 being best allrounder, the 900 is more relaxing at times - a real magic carpet
Yep, i was there, arrived about 10.00 on the Multi ...... was some lovely cars there, left about 12.15 Felt for the guy on the Airwaves 999 that he abandoned after it wouldnt start ....
Mervyn If that was J.G + son I think he needs to stop taking the Philosan! The RSV4's,that I later saw parked up by the flying club; one in white, and the other yellow, had obviously both recently done trackdays due to condition of tyres . Chris and I have made the decision to get real and stop messing about with inferior Ducati's and get some of the Aprillia action btw I was at the Triumph owners club meet at the George and Dragon in Dragons Green briefly on Saturday and had my day made when the owner of a rip snorting Triton with reverse cone megga's let me have a sit on and a start up for a listen, he even offered me a go on it but I was in the car and had no lid + leathers e.t.c. He is the landlord of the Plough at Lower Beeding so will be planning a visit in the near future..
