  10. you have me immediately thinking of dear old Patrick Moore - I know he 'blotted his copy book' early on with his thoughts on Germans but not many realised why - I think I would have been equally as unhinged if not more so. I am guessing that you have a serious 'telescope' knowing you.

  16. What I really need is a tripod so that the 10x50 binoculars I inherited are actually useful. And then I need to disconnect all the street lighting in town. Then I'll need a 12" reflector to take advantage of that.

    I wish I lived in Abbotsbury, street lighting is banned there. :cool:
