  1. Ok, so I got myself a GoPro 3 and had a little play but when I play my sample back the footage is all jerky!! I have done some googling and it would seem it's my puta :-( I tried some software that was recommended but still jerky!!

My question to all you hero3 users is what kind of spec puta do you use to get normal play back?

  2. not shure whate a "Puta "is somthing to do with golf ? but this is from my Go pro 3

  3. What computer (puta) spec did you use for this?

  4. did it on my laptop ,running windows 7

  5. sounds like it could be your micro sd card

  6. The card is a ultra class 10 sandisk 32gb?

  7. My netbook wont run HD recording either. Run YT etc ok but not from the cam. Likely video processor and ram is the issue

  8. Try uploading to utube and see how it looks

  9. Your is really pixalated on a ipad, not Hd.

Try turning the GP down to non hd setting

  10. Moved to gadgets :)

  11. What spec is your machine??

  12. I only have an issue when editing mine playback is fine

If you are having jerky playback get a hold of streamclip and use it to change the codec used. This may just well solve the problem as I had something similar on an old machine and that solved it

  13. Had the same problem after getting my GoPro and filming some track footage. Wouldn't play on my ipad and wouldn't play on my laptop. Same issues as you, all jerky stop start or sound wasn't in time.

    Found an easy fix.

Spend £1500 on a MacBook Pro. Does the job a treat and it's got that iMovie thingy.

  14. Download VLC player. Its free and uses a lot less resources to play videos, its worth a shot before you go spending money...

  15. Jerky video. Video is a bastard. You need loads of ram and the most expensive graphics card ever made. That should sort things out. I've given up on video because I can't upgrade the graphics on my 4 year old iMac . Films of slugs are ok though .

  16. I had similar issues with an old mac book pro.
The higher the definition and higher the frame rates the harder the computer needs to work.
I bought a new MacBook Pro that solved it for me but you may just be able to resize the video and compress it. Try a program called MPEG streamclip by squared 5
Squared 5 - MPEG Streamclip video converter for Mac and Windows
Its used by a lot of video editors and its free! Worth a try rather than spending £1500 on a new poota.
    Cheers
