im ditching my ghost s cameras in favour of the GoPro 7 black. I really wanted to mount it on the chin of my tour x as I hate the sticking out the side or one top. Trouble is I’m only 5’8” and have the mra Varro screen fitted and it blocks the camera view. I’ve done a google search but wondered where others are mounting their gopros
Ignoring specific bike models here, but in terms of vibes and camera shake nothing beats a good bolt to an immovable part of the bike. Bolted mine to the screen mount. Also you get the benefits of hard wiring to ignition and setting the camera to start recording on power up. Fit and forget. It's so tight it'll only come off with tools so even theft isn't really a problem
3M heavy duty double side mounting tape. I use it since last August. Obviously, you must apply it properly. Steady as a rock! I'm actually more worry about how to remove it if needed
