Has anyone had any issues with this? I have a Rukka Jacket and the lockout has started to tear at the bottom , I believe due to beingit stiched to the jacket. I am concerned that this will reduce service life 1
Just checked mine and it also appears to be coming away (not quite as bad as yours but getting there). I bought mine in Germany so I guess i'd have to send it back there? Would be interested to hear what they do to sort yours out....
I haven't heard back yet but I will let you know. I am worried that this would tear in a fall , or just continue to tear as time goes by.
I lube mine all the time , I was supplied the pen as well. I have done quite a few miles with the jacket, I like the gear and have raved about Rukka so much that quite a few of my riding buddies have purchased. My jacket lost the zip puller, not from pulling but getting caught in the clasp and breaking off, a bit of frying where the gloves meet the jacket sleeves, Rukka Gloves , and this is it. This issue concernes me most because it may be a design flaw?
Funny enough you've just reminded me that my zip puller snapped off as well! I replaced it with a large ring which is easier to use anyway.
I replaced my puller with a large ring and a small solar charged LED torch attached ! Still interesting the same occurred to both, this is the reason I post these issues , not so much as a whinge but for info and product improvement.
