Just taken delivery of my 2001, 748. I'm like a kid with a new toy. Spent all day reading the handbook, service records and fiddling with the bike. Just got what I hope is a minor problem the LH main beam bulb has failed, how do I get to the fitting to replace it. The manual is misleading as it refers to the parking lights as headlights! Still excited though, can't wait to get on the road with it.

The left hand headlight is dip only, the right is main beam, not been out on mine at night for a long time though. To replace the bulb just remove the rubber boot and unclip it , quite simple really. Steve
