Well since it was dry and no risk of ice I decided it was time to get out one the bike yesterday. Only a short one and it was a bit cold and slippy but was good to get that noise back in my life. Just got to take it steady as I definitely felt a bit rusty even with only a small time off the bike. Keep it rubber side down out there boys and girls, especially those of us getting back on after a break over winter
Nice one. I always love the first blat out after the winter lay-up. Bike feels always quicker than I remembered for about 30 mins or so, then the throttle gets twisted. Love it.
I always enjoy the feeling of 'am I really allowed to ride this on the road?' admittedly I'm not allowed to ride it quite how we do sometimes but still, starting it up after a break feels naughty in just the right way. Bring on the warm roads!
