I thought Grayson Perry's recent Reith Lecture about art was refreshing and accessible. Worth a read, or listen. BBC Radio 4 - The Reith Lectures, Grayson Perry: Playing to the Gallery: 2013
Yeah I get that, but don't see the significance, or relevance of having it written on onto an artists work board. And yes I did have to google Grayson Perry. Thankfully, it doesnt look like Ive missed much on this one. Now where is my Xbox controller
My perception of him was changed dramatically having listened to the Reith lectures. On a more worrying note that implies I have something in common with Pete.
I watched a documentary on Grayson last year and it is difficult not to like the bloke. As an artist? - not for me Thanks.
I both like him and his pots. Shame I could never afford one but he's a likeable fella and i agree with his views on art to a limited extent. He says some interesting things and makes a good case for them. I'm not especially 'arty' so i can't really be more specific. However my gut feeling says hes a top-ho bloke and I love his bike.
