Only problem with the GoPros is the size, its just a little too obvious when using on the road. I used to have a bullet cam wired back to a video camera but with the Duke theres no room under the seat for the video camera so looking for something else now.
Ive been giving real thought to the Go Pro, but my money will be going on a HD Drift Ghost. Mainly as Ive read horror stories about aftersale service
I'm gonna check the Drift out too. Lot of dough for a "toy" but I'm looking at splitting it with my brother...
I had a drift std, not hd, and tbh it was pretty good once you remembered to adjust for lighting. Tough and waterproof and able to survive a crash or two ;-) also the remote fob is very useful just don't crash at Anglesey, the fuckers who marshall nick em ( still bitter)
I took a short little video with my GoPro Hero 3 yesterday, just got to work out how to make a decent edit out of it now. Tidy bit of kit though..! Stu
Well here it is, my first effort at a video on my bike with my GoPro Hero 3, edited in a trial version of Sony Vegas Pro 12 (hence the watermark on the video), just to see what it is like before I decide to buy it, have a few other editors to test before I do though, oh you might want to skip past me faffing around with my gloves, I couldn't get the cold killers out the inside, I should have cut that bit out lol  Stu
Im shooting 2.7k on my GP3 at the moment. Absolutely loving the crispness at night in the city. Thats 1080 - 1440 - 2.7k (24fps) - 4k.
I use MPEG Streamclip clip to convert and trim them on my mac. ww.squared5.com I usually use the H.264 format. There is a Gopro application from the gopro website.
