This is a worry, not that they'll get in anyway I suppose. Don't think they like bikes, no mention of restricting powerful cars either I see?? The Green Party policy on motorcycles???? - Bike Chat Forums
Oh its much worse than that. They would shut down the military and turn bases into nature reserves. Membership of an extremist group which advocates terrorism would not be a criminal offence. British citizens fighting in foreign wars against British interests (Syria, Iraq) would be allowed to return to Britain unhindered and without sanction or criminal charges. Immigration controls, such as they are, would be abandoned altogether and there would be an amnesty and citizenship for all illegals. They would abolish the Monarchy and turn Buckingham palace into accommodation for the homeless. Children not to start school until they are six and an end to examinations and inspections. Economic policy enacted with the specific aim of producing negative growth (permanent recession/depression) to save the planet's resources. Yet at the same time as engineering perpetual recession they would increase public spending by £300,000,000,000 per year. And now no motorbikes.. Despite the above there are some f***kwits in existence who have confounded Darwinism and survived into adulthood who actually intend to vote for this drivel.
I wouldn't worry about them EVER getting in. BBC News - Election 2015: Green leader Bennett sorry for 'excruciating' interview
^^ love this!! I saw this on a friends FB page, sorry about posting old news, I'll be popping into FB in a mo to point this put to him!
The Greens have one MP at present. It's quite likely they will lose that one (Brighton), and even if they hold on to it there is small chance of them gaining a second seat. This means that the chances of the Green party having any role in any future government are essentially nil. Thank goodness, since they are a bunch of barking mad nutters and fantasists.
Yeah, I listened to that Ferrari bloke interview the Green Party leader tart. Fucking toe curling, man. Who the fuck votes for them? Gotta be tree hugging hipee birds. And limp wristed White blokes with dreadlocks. Didn't realise there were so many!!
The interview was truely a terminal car crash and I don't think she'll recover from it! Her key manifesto item was the building of 500,000 social housing homes to guarantee a house for all! And to be paid for by an attack on the tax relief (on the interest only!) on buy-to-let mortgages. Landlords are clearly almost criminals to the Greens! The net result would be: 1) Landlords would put rentals up to cover the increased cost or would sell as they couldn't afford to continue paying the mortgage. 2) Less rental properties would be available. The prospect of Labour under Ed Balls mis-management with the SNP leeching further Scottish financial benefits and the Greens pushing for ill thought out policies would have us heading for an economic storm. Please no.....
Greens have ruined brighton; street skips not personal bims, more services straikes than simce Maggy kicked the unions ass, gridLocked congested roads, generally no idea on how to manage. If i were a green I wouldnt be now. If the management team and membership can choose an idiot like that as leader, how are they to be trusted with a anythinb?!
the aerial on the van was pushed down for some reason and i could only get some bbc station yesterday.. I had the misfortune of hearing this moron speak.. what a load of drivel.. im not real clued up when it comes to politics or economics but even a dunce like me can grasp simple math, clearly she either cant or has relied on her advisers without giving it a thought.. Fortunately people are not forced to vote in this country as that would be the only hope that a party like this has...
Three months ago I posted my guess about how many MP seats I thought UKIP would win at the general election - I thought six MPs. Now I would like to revise that guess. On current polling trends, I now think four MPs. There's no need to worry about UKIP forming a part of any prospective coalition government, since the chances of that are negligible.
Oh great! Thanks for that :Banghead: By the way, did you hear who the MP is that earns the most from their 2nd jobs............Gordon Brown at a cool £962K Don't forget to pay the full tax Mr B, we need it to fix all the holes you left behind.
I really fear SNP being part of the UK govt, as they are so insular andNOT forthe greater good it can only speel trouble for England, esp those in thealready raped South East
