  1. Hi all, I've just purchased a 2001 996 BP that was basically sound but had been left, unloved, for a few years. After an intensive 3 week strip, service and rebuild she is now looking hot once again! Go me!
This is my second Duke, I had a 916 BP from 2005 to 2007 which I sold when I moved to Oz. Now I'm back in Mother England and resurrecting my love for these beautiful, iconic bikes.

My only current issue is that, although the bike goes well, I'd like to have the fuelling map perfected so the 3500 stutter is eliminated.

CJS have quoted me £350 to sort it out on the dyno, although I read that others get the problem sorted by JHP for half that. Also, I'm tempted to buy a new Ducati Performance eprom on EBay for £35, whack that in and see how she goes.

Anyone have any experience in this field?

    Cheers, Dave.

  2. I have a JHP chip in my 996SPS. It runs well but, from what I have seen and heard, Chris at CJS would get it running even better. I will be getting him to do my D16 as soon as it is out of warranty, and my SPS when I take it off SORN.

  5. Thanks for the info Dave, I might have to get to CJS then, as I want it running spot on.

Up until this morning it wasn't running too well, then I reset the TPS and now she's good........but not perfect.

    Thanks for welcome guys. :)
