Thought it was about time I scratched my Italian itch. Picked up a lovely 1299s from Bury last week and rode it back home to the south coast. Absolutely loving the character and performance of the bike so far. What an amazing machine. Jury is out on the sound... still think the older Dukes sound better personally but it's certainly not bad! My favourite sounding bike is still my '99 955i Daytona with the high level exhaust. That's just wicked. No doubt I'll be keeping the panigale relatively standard for the time being. Hopefully see some of you on ride outs/meets in the future!
