So I'm selling the Jet. I figure on £1800. I expect to put it on eBay. It's a Gretsch G6228FM Player's Edition Jet, bourbon stain. Tiger flame maple, ebony board, Tim Shaw Broad'Tron pickups. Pretty-much as new. Comes with a case, of course. If anyone here (in the UK) wants it, I'll pay the postage. It's discontinued, though there may be the odd new one still available at around £2100 - £2200. Gretsch still advertise it at $2800. A lovely guitar - as all the reviews attest. To quote MusicRadar's: "As ever with the Professional Series, playability, tone, build quality, even value for money are so consistently excellent that we could have cut and pasted this sentence from any of our previous reviews." I could do with the space.
I was listening to Lynyrd Skynyrds Free Bird the other day. Sounded easy enough might give it a bash… GLWS btw
Better pics. I find it helps considerably having full guitar shots horizontal. nb. Also Gotoh locking tuners.. https://www.gretschguitars.com/gear...bt-with-v-stoptail-and-flame-maple/2413500878
