Grinding/rough feeling when turning the handlebars.....

  1. I am feeling and hearing a rough grinding/rusty type noise/feel when I am turning at slow speed, bike is an MTS12 2012 with 1500 miles from new.

    Surely can't be bearings already? :eek:

  2. It got to be the bearings in the steering, either dodgy/dry bearings.

  3. If it is that's shocking on a 4 month old bike that had only covered dry miles :eek:

  4. Thats sounds like a warranty looking at. It is conceivable that the packing grease has broken down.

  5. Gonna ring MotoRapido tomorrow and see what's what, just need to determine that it's not squealing from the brakes first, deffo feels like it is coming from the steering though
