899 Grip Replacement

  1. Almost run the 899 in now but iam getting a bit of num hand and feel the grips are really hard on the palms. Has anyone fitted any aftermarket grips that are a bit thicker/spongier?? Would like something that looks as Oe as poss.

  3. I get the same issue. My right hand is the worse. I was tempted to buy a pair of neoprene palm supports but they might be tight under my gloves.

  6. don't think grips will help mines same 1199, its vibration off twin I,d say , heard heavier bar end weights help?

  8. I have read that before. I've been trying to be a looser on the bars and clench with my knees.

  11. Ordered some grip puppies. Ive had 4 ducatis and have all done it to some degree no matter how hard i grip.
    WIll see what they are like

  12. Had this problem on my 848 and my 1199s but to a lesser degree on the 1199.
    I don't think its totally down to gripping too hard as I don't, it could be more to do with the weight on your wrists and hands due to the riding position, and vibration from a twin.

  13. Always used Renthal firm feel smaller diameter can relax my hands more . Personal preference I guess
