...Iv'e been told thursday last there is a callback for the GT, apparently a cable sensor near to the swing arm is to short and needs to be lengthened. Will report more when I've had the fix!
I had a phone call from my dealer for the same thing. Not sure if this just 3013 modeled onwards or all years though. Mine is a 2014 Pikes Peak. Dave
..GT is going in Friday for callback work. As stated it's a censor cable routed near to the swing arm which needs a longer version to stop false readings. Ducati quote 3hrs for installation in a factory environment, my dealer (GT Plymouth) reckon 4hrs!....not sure what to make of that! Will let you know how it goes.
When you compare the issues with the 2010 Mutli they have spent time sorting problems before release and this problem has not been an owners found fault but was found during extended life testing.
Phoned Riders in Cardiff today about this, and my bike is one of the recall's. Thanks for the heads up VJ.
...all done, it took about about 1.5hrs not as they predicted 4hrs. Hoping for some dry weather tomorrow, err today!...going to GT Plymouth to watch gp showdown, then a ride.
