1260 Gt - Wheel Colours

  1. Black, gold or gun metal? Oz Gass racing wheels is the wheel I'm going for but with the paint scheme on the GT mutli, I simply can't decide... I'm almost convinced gold is the best colour, but the only other gold thing on the bike is the DID chain.

Black is a bit boring and gun metal is... Well, it's basic as well

  2. I feel gold will change the bike significantly. Good or bad will be down to you, but a big difference.

I like the scheme on the 1260GT, it's very subtle.

Personally, I'd go gunmetal, a noticeable change but still in keeping with the bike. Gold makes a statement and there might be someone on the general page that can photoshop them on for you.

  3. Just my opinion, the Techno Black looks more subtle than the gloss black, the Titanium is definitely more grown up and the gold is just too ‘look at me, I’m a tart’ :joy: Andy

  4. In fairness, I'm a bit of a tart... Maybe the gold will suit then :D

I think the gun metal colour is going to be the one I pick. Matt black is too common and boring, gloss is not for me and yea, gold is a little too 'Premier chippy' if that makes sense lol

  5. Gold look cool though :upyeah:

  6. Why not take a side photo and Photoshop the different wheels into the image so you can really see what the end results would be for each?

  7. The full on 24 karat bling gold looks a bit too much for my taste but, the toned down pale gold I think looks pretty good.
My wheels are due for some TLC after 50k and multiple tyre changes, I was considering a pale gold colour.

  8. Gold will look awful, I’d go gunmetal to match the bodywork. With some red highlights, of course.
