  1. Two new things turned up today...
Lithium battery for 848 (from Carbon Quest), and new kitchen scales...
Therefore I couldn't help myself and had a before and after weigh-in...

I'll post old and new weights later on this evening...

    guess away :upyeah:

  7. Answer is....

    2.6 kg
Old battery 3.56 (not original, swapped in last year when original died)
    New Lithium 0.95 kg

So nearly 6 lbs in old money; not a great deal, but all adds up...

  8. No mention of who won

  9. Who said that ?

  12. F-All...........I'm still using a cheapo Yuasa copy lead acid battery that must be at least 7 years old...charged twice and topped up twice in five years..may need charging this winter owing to lack of use.......and I suspect it has been slowly getting worse for 4 four years.......but I bet it still starts the bike fairly easily...
