Does it look pretty good with red wheels? I know the candy ones would clash but I think this looks pretty good??
Tbf I HATE white so they are the only plus point of the white ones, having said that if I change wheels it will be to some shiny gold OZ's ;-)
The white 899 wouldn't be my first colour choice, but not because I don't like white, I'm just not into the red wheels. But I think the white ones look ace with black/gold wheels. I saw @simmytt's 899 last night and the gold OZ wheels on that looked gorgeous  - albeit on a red 899...
Na, colour coded wheels never look good,i think you always need a contrast, red bike black or gold wheels, blue bike black or white wheels, only exception being a black bike as black black works fine.
I'm putting black wheels on my white 899 shortly. I hate the red. Even the yellow rear spring bothers me :tonguewink:
I like the white wheels that Ducatis had in the early 90s. A complete bastard to clean, but when they were, they looked great with the red bike. White wheels on a red 899 would look cool and vaguely retro. But yes, a bastard to clean, so perhaps best for people who like to spend as much time cleaning as riding (and they don't seem to be so thin on the ground).
I always hated rim tape on any other bike but I think other 899s that i see now look a bit naked without the red tape on them like I bought mine with. :flushed:
That bikes at Ducati Beverly Hills, there's probably some knob head celeb somewhere riding round on pink panigale with purple speckled wheels thinking they look cool!:Wtf:
Well.... I like the red on the rear but not on the front and white wheels are a pain to keep clean it's ok till someone decides to run a finger across them :Rage:
